The detail you need. For your company or your clients.
Accounting and secretarial firms get a roster of authorized client businesses. Sdn Bhd finance teams work on their own company's accounts, with the same professional tools.
Books has a Guided experience for business owners, with plain-language tasks and a money-in, money-out summary. Authorized users can use the Professional experience for detailed accounting work. Switching the view does not change your permissions.
Can I keep working with my accountant?
Yes. Books supports accounting-firm engagements, so an authorized firm can work with your business records. We can walk through invitations, permissions, and the right setup during your demo.
How does e-Invoicing fit into Books?
BizCARE offers Books and LHDN MyInvois e-Invoicing together. Product access is configured for your workspace. Once your e-Invoicing company is linked to a Books business, supported validated invoices can be brought into the books through an explicit action. The demo covers the supported document types and setup for your business.
Does AI post entries without my approval?
AI-prepared receipt entries wait for your confirmation before they are posted. Books can ask you a question when details are unclear. Separate automation settings exist for eligible entries; we will explain those controls during setup.
Can I bring in my bank statements?
Books supports bank CSV imports and reconciliation in the Professional experience. Bring a sample of your bank's export to the demo so we can check the import workflow with you.
Is Books for my company or for my clients?
Both. Business owners and in-house finance teams work on their own business records, including Sdn Bhd companies. Accounting and secretarial firms can manage authorized client engagements through the Client Roster. Your role and access determine the work you can perform; your legal business type does not force you into a particular view.
Does Books handle company-secretarial work?
Secretarial firms can use Books for their clients' bookkeeping, reconciliation, and accounting reports. Statutory company records and company-secretarial workflows belong to Biro, a separate product. A Books engagement does not grant authority to submit a client's e-Invoices; e-Invoicing access is arranged separately.
